About Us

Padmeshwar Gogoi International School (PGIS) is the first global Assamese teaching school, that started teaching the Assamese language since March 2020 during the lockdown in Covid19 pandemic. Our mission is to keep the Assamese language alive and pass it on to the next generations. Till now PGI School has taught the Assamese language to 150+ children and adults from India, Canada, the USA, the Netherlands, the UK, Poland, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Slovakia, UAE, Malaysia, Germany and France. PGI School teaches reading, writing, speaking, poems, numbers and Assamese culture in a friendly comfortable environment in their own houses. Speech therapist, astronaut, scholar, president of Assam Sahitya Sabha, Dr. Kuladhar Saikia visits PGI School occasionally.
